Australian Safety and Efficacy Register of New Interventional Procedures – Surgical (ASERNIP-S)

The mission of ASERNIP-S is to assess new and emerging surgical technologies and techniques. The services provided include systematic overviews, assessment of new and emerging technologies, facilitation of audits and the production of clinical practice guidelines.

Adelaide Health Technology Assessment (AHTA)

AHTA is located within the University of Adelaide. Its main activities include the provision of HTA for public decision makers, horizon scanning, development of clinical guidelines and advancement of methodological approaches to technology assessment.

Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC)

MSAC is an interdisciplinary assessment body of the Australian Minister of Health and Ageing. It advises the Minister on evidence relating to the safety, effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of new medical technologies and procedures.
